DEFEND POTENTIAL FUND
The Defend Potential Fund was created in March 2020, during a challenging time for our nation. As an agency, we were navigating how to turn our in-person mentoring programs into a virtual format so the children we serve could continue to receive the support they deserve. Financially, we knew we would face shortcomings due to two major fundraising events taking place during the pandemic. To ensure, we weathered this storm and to Defend the Potential of all those we serve, the Defend Potential Fund was created. An anonymous donor, pledged to match every dollar raised, up to $100,000.
We are so proud to announce, that as of June 10th, we have met our goal of raising a combined total of $200,000! This funding will allow us to continue to serve the children in our programs as well as provide Emergency Relief for the families we serve. This funding will ensure the future of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & MetroWest, and will enable us to quickly serve those who need and rely on human connection to grow and prosper -- especially after this intense period of social isolation and distancing. Thank you to all those who have supported and contributed to this campaign!
